Bad Movies

Have you ever walked through Blockbuster and seen movies on the shelves that make you think, “Who in their right mind rents these movies?” I can answer that question for you: Me. Earlier this summer Curt, Russ, and I watched a lot of movies because I got a Movie Pass and decided to use it in the best way possible. Requirements for rental were simple. It had to have less than 5% on Rotten Tomatoes, have an awesome cover, or have a synopsis describing werewolf samurai or thugged out vampires. Here’s a rundown of some movies we watched.

Wishing Stairs
There are no males in this movie at all if I remember correctly. That’s unfortunate for Wally, but it sure sounds promising otherwise. Wrong. Bad.

Shallow Ground
Spoiler Alert! Highlight to view: This movie is horrible

Dracula …3000
This gem was sitting in the new release section. Coolio is a main character.

Urban Legend 3: Bloody Mary
Also known as Urban Legend 3: Absolutely Not Related to Urban Legend 1 & 2. Does this automatically mean that it was terrible? Yes, and the ‘3′ should be a tip-off also. Bad movie.

Acacia
I believe it’s about a haunted tree or a boy that turns into a tree or something along those lines. I fell asleep. Maybe it was good, but then again, it was about a tree.

Kibakichi
Two words: Werewolf Samurai.
