Disturbia

Pretty good. I was surprised because I was pretty much apathetic about it after seeing the preview. A lot of friends said it was worth watching so I was glad to see it on the plane brochure. I couldn’t figure out how to use the remote for a while so I missed the first ten minutes, but it all still made sense. Pretty good acting, but it’s fairly predictable. There’s a good article about Shia in the August Vanity Fair if you ever need to kill time in the magazine section. Basically, he got his career started without help from his parents, doesn’t go out much (think anti-Lohan), and Steven Spielberg likes him a lot.

I didn’t think it was all that good, it was predictable, like you said, and the plot was just too out there for me.
Plus the girl was NOT that hot. It was no transformers in my book.

exactly, because transformers wasn’t at all predictable and giant robots that can take the shape of other objects isn’t out there at all.
i do agree that it was no transformers. i mean, if you’re gonna make a movie about transforming robots, then transformers did it a lot better than disturbia did.

Yeah, Sarah Roemer is no Megan Fox and Officer Gutierrez has in no way any resemblance to GEE. By the way, what ever happened to Barricade anyways?
