12,000 years in the making. For whatever reason, I had pretty high hopes. Just about everything else is just too ridiculous to overlook. They mixed the story from Apocalypto with the bad guy from Stargate (and it also had a guy that looked an awful like the Medjai from The Mummy). Then they added the raptors-in-tall-crops scene from The Lost World and included a speech from Independence Day. They topped it off with some CGI (which is on point) and called it a movie. After Apocalypto and 300, it’d be really hard to make any sort of battle epic while keeping it PG-13. All in all, it’s really disappointing, because there was definitely the possibility of a good movie somewhere in that budget of theirs.

You forgot to add that the young Delay was played by Lathil’s little brother….ask Adnrew, he knows what’s up…hahaha
