Comparing movies based on Stephen King stories, I liked 1408 a little more. But this has Tom Jane, who I didn’t realize was actually a real actor when watching the Arrested Development episodes. Same thing with Judge Reinhold. So that sort of makes me the guy who laughs at the joke he doesn’t get. Ah, the movie—poor effects, good character development (though they make idiotic decisions, even for a horror movie), and an excellent spider scene.
