Actual, reliable information regarding new MacBooks, in case you can’t wait a few more hours for the official announcements.¬† I was in the market for a new computer and it came down to a high-end laptop or a relatively cheap desktop. I had read about the October 14 date for new Apple laptops, but I decided to pull the trigger on a desktop. Then I had buyers remorse when the October 14 event was confirmed. Then I remembered that the high-end MacBook Pro would be $1800 more (that I really don’t have). Assuming everything in the link is true, I’m sort of neutral about the whole thing now. I think the high-end regular MacBook would do the trick, but that’d still be $800 more (that I don’t exactly have), so I can’t say I have all that much buyer’s remorse.
