I haven’t been keeping up with reviewing the movies I’ve been watching, and even this is more than a week late.¬† Clint Eastwood plays an old man that hates Asians but lives in an Asian neighborhood in Detroit.¬† And it’s awesome.¬† Before we went, Jerry said it was pretty funny, which you really can’t tell from the preview.¬† I haven’t laughed as much since watching last summer’s great set of comedies.

Jerry also warned us that some of the lines are pretty bad, we’ll know what he means.¬† He don’t lie, they’re really bad.¬† Apparently, Clint Eastwood wanted Hmong people playing the Hmong family rather than Asian actors pretending to be a Hmong family.¬† Interesting decision, but some of the acting gets distracting.¬† My friends could probably pull of similar performances given a few weeks to rehearse.¬† Especially the asian thug life parts.
